The only way we can stay ahead of our competitors is to do things that they are not willing to do, just can’t do, and or don’t know they should do. This takes me back to sitting in a desk in front of a teacher with a huge smile on my face because I know I came prepared. BE PREPARED for the questions, concerns, and needs your clients are going to have prior to meeting with them. Don’t shoot from the hip if you get a report READ IT… If there is a concern RESEARCH IT… The most important thing in this business is making sure you do your HOMEWORK and coming to work PREPARED. Being a Professional is not an act it’s a lifestyle. Anticipate your clients questions of costs, time lines, best/worst case scenarios, interruption of lifestyle, etc.. Doing these simple things that are basically busy work is what will help us retain clients, gain clients, and be called a Professional.
